The Rossmühle on the farm of the farmer Meyer zu Kniendorf dates back to 1797 and has been preserved in its original state and is privately owned. Until 1920, the mill was operated by horse power, and for another 10 years by motor power before it was shut down in 1930. After extensive restoration, it was put back into operation in 1985. It is the largest horse mill in Westphalia. Recognizable from the outside as a distinctive octagonal half-timbered building under a round thatched roof, the interior of the mill houses the pulling gear for a maximum of six horses. The wooden comb wheel has a circumference of 32 meters.
