The Evangelical Lutheran church in Schnathorst is an impressive example of neo-Gothic architecture. Located directly on Nikolausweg, the hall church was built in 1901 and combines historical and architectural elements. The cruciform hall with surrounding galleries and artistic frescoes in the choir area create a special atmosphere. Historic stained glass windows bathe the interior in colorful light. The church has been renovated several times to preserve its charm. The first church stood on this site as early as 1572.
